Burnett Heads is set to become home THE GATEWAY, a $250M integrated resort and 318 berth marina with Sydney based BH Developments officially lodging the Development Application with Bundaberg Regional Council.
Bundaberg mayor Jack Dempsey said “the development would herald a new era for the region with the attraction set to increase tourists to the area.”
“The proposed Burnett Heads Marina would create hundreds of jobs for the local community, not only initially with the construction of the project but ongoing as positions are created across retail, food and beverage and service sectors,” said Mr Dempsey. “In addition, the attraction will bring thousands of additional tourists to the region each year which will provide a welcome boost to the economy of Bundaberg.”
